FamilyNotices.com was designed to be a portal to provide access to the now growing number of providers of death notices online around the world, initially in the UK and Ireland.  The service at this stage is relavely simple in operations, however using Google technology the site carries out targeted searches of all the newspaper websites, and in some instances other portals to allow users to find quickly a funeral notice.   The service will then drive the user to the newspapers own site to present the details in full.   The real benefit of the service is the single access approach.   The site also provides direct access to the family notice pages of many newspapers by region so interested users can scan the notices in a particular newspaper.   The service also provide the ability to create on-line celebration notices.
